New York Journal

Hi everyone

I’ve been promising you that I would show you my newly decorated This and That Journal and I’ve finally delivered on my promise. This is also a bit of a sneak peek from the 2013-14 Annual Catalogue which starts tomorrow.

The Designer Series Paper is called Soho Subway and I just LOVE it. It’s a bit grungy and it has lots of my favourite places in New York on it.

Below is the front and back cover. I haven’t added any embellishments because I honestly didn’t think it needed anything else and I didn’t want to cover over anything.

On the inside cover I used the pieces of DSP that were left over from the front cover and did a collage effect. I really enjoyed doing the collage; working out where all the bits were going to go and being a little more creative. It reminded me of being back at school, although I’m sure I didn’t enjoy collage quite as much back in school.
