Hi everyone
As promised the other day here is my project using the new Circle Scissors Plus. This project was so easy using this fabulous tool. I simply dialled up the size of the circle that I wanted and then using the cutting tool simply cut the circles out. The sizes I have used for this project are 1.5, 2 and 2.5cm circles and I used Ski Slope Designer Series Paper. I popped each of the circles up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals just to give the illusion that they are hanging off the card. This was such a quick project to do too, although the bows were fiddly. Does anybody else have trouble with bows? The first 2 were easy but the last one for some reason just didn’t want to tie correctly. I got there in the end though. I also used a very simple sentiment on the bottom of the card, although you could probably get away with not using one if you didn’t want to.

Well the beginning of December means the launch of the new Summer Mini Catalogue. The new catalogue is full of lovely new stamp sets, beautiful Designer Series Papers, new punches and the Circle Scissors Plus. A wonderful cutting tool which allows you to cut circles up to 16cm diameter. The uses for this tool are endless. I will be posting a card I’ve made using the Circle Scissors Plus in the next couple of days. Hi everyone
Just thought I’d let you know what’s been happening with me and why things have been so quiet. About 10 days ago I had a partial knee replacement surgery done on my right knee. I knew that this would be a very painful thing to go through and I wasn’t wrong LOL!! My recovery is going really well, if slowly, but I am on pretty strong pain medication and as a result my brain is pretty well AWOL. I also find myself getting tired really easily.
As a result of this I am cancelling my next class on 20 November. I just won’t be able to get things ready in time for the class and I would hate to give a class that wasn’t worthwhile and didn’t give you value for your money. I will be publishing a class schedule for next year in December and will also have details about a couple of new and exciting clubs I will be running through next year.
On the positive side. There will be a new mini catalogue coming out on 1st December and I plan to have a launch party to show you all the lovely goodies in the catalogue. I have seen the new catalogue and it is fantastic. I’m very excited about it. I will let you all know more details as it gets closer.

The Sydney Papercrafts Festival is happening soon. It’s being held from the 2nd – 4th October at Canterbury Racecourse. The exiciting news is that I will be working at the Stampin’ Up! stand. I’m pretty thrilled about this as I’ve never done it before. It will be fun to be on the other side of the stand for a change.
We will be doing demonstrations and make & takes so if you are planning on going to the Papercrafts Festival please drop by and say hello.
Isn’t this box gorgeous?? This is one of the things we’ll be making at my class this Friday. I absolutely love this little box. It’s a great size for jewellery, lollies, cookies, that sort of thing. I’ve used some designer series paper for the box. The one I’ve used “Parisian Breeze” is so beautiful. It’s textured and heavier than the usual designer series paper and it’s just lovely to touch. The butterfly has been stamped on Baja Breeze cardstock with Versamark and then embossed with white embossing powder. I’ve then cut around the butterfly leaving a little of the Baja Breeze on the edge and then cut around the butterfly again with Chocolate Chip to give it a bit of a “pop”. Hope you like it. All products used are Stampin’ Up!

My big boy, Riley, turns 11 tomorrow!!! Boy, that’s hard to believe. In one sense it only seems like yesterday and in another it’s been the longest 11 years of my life. Those of you who know Riley will understand what I’m talking about. He’s 11 going on 35 honestly.
So tonight I was sitting here in a panic thinking what am I going to make for him. He’s a bit too old now for animals, robots and those sorts of thing but too young for the sort of thing I’d make for a teenager. So I settled on plain and simple in bright colours. I’m not quite sure still about this card, I think it could have done with something extra on there but I wasn’t sure what, so I thought I’d just leave it.
